Help in a Crisis

If things feel overwhelming right now, you don't have to face them alone.

Sometimes we need help sooner rather than later. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or feel that you or someone else is at immediate risk of harm, please seek urgent support. GP Arch Therapy is not a crisis service and I may not be able to respond immediately to messages.

The organisations below can provide immediate support when you need it most.

Your GP

If you're struggling with your mental health, your GP can be an important source of support. They can listen to what's been happening, discuss treatment options with you, make referrals to local mental health services and help you access the support that's right for you.

If you feel able to, consider making an appointment. You don't have to wait until things become unbearable before asking for help.

You don’t have to face this on your own.

Asking for help can feel like one of the hardest steps, particularly when you're already feeling overwhelmed. Whether you're in crisis or simply finding things difficult, you don't have to cope on your own. Whether that's speaking to someone you trust, contacting your GP, or reaching out to one of the organisations above, support is available.
